Human-computer interaction plays a pivotal role in improving user-friendliness and functionality of these interfaces, making them more pleasing, accessible and efficient for all. Studying human-computer interaction online provides the flexibility to acquire skills in designing user-friendly digital interfaces from the comfort of your own space.
Our interdisciplinary program seamlessly blends principles and techniques from computer science, graphic design and social sciences, empowering you to master user-centered design approaches. You’ll gain the skills needed to craft information and communication technologies, including websites, mobile apps, computer games and software design.

Applicants are required to have a bachelor’s or master’s degree/advanced certificate. A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better is required for applicants.
All international transcripts must be verified through a World Education Services (WES) credit evaluation as part of your application.

Statement of purpose: In 500-100 words, describe your personal achievements relating to your academic interests, and detail your educational and professional objectives with reasoning for applying to SUNY Oswego. This statement will help the review team better understand and evaluate your application.
Resume: Include a professional resume or curriculum vitae that includes your academic history, professional background and any accomplishments of note. This document should provide details that support your admittance to the program.
Two letters of recommendation: Indicate two names with valid email addresses. We will send an email request directly to the references on your behalf. These references should be able to speak to your character, work ethic and abilities.
